Darjeeling Tour |

 The name Darjeeling has been associated with the production of quality tea and a journey in one of the oldest cute little Toy Trains pulled by steam engine uphill from the plains of Siliguri to Darjeeling, the town in the lap of Mt. Kanchenhunga ( 8586 m.), the final destination. On the way before reaching its destination, it reaches an altitude of almost 2260 meters at Ghoom. The slopes along the way are veiled with tea plants. The Toy Train that has very recently been declared World Heritage is adored by all who have opportunity to ride in it.
The sunrise view from top of Tiger Hill and the sight of the effect of colour over the summit of Kanchanjunga is beyond description. The summit of Mt. Everest is visible from here. It is a matter to be experienced once in life. The view of Mt. kanchenjunga, the third highest mountain in the world, from Darjeeling is the best. A short trek of Sandakphu – Phalut Region takes you to such places where one can enjoy the colour and fragrance of rhododendrons and other wild flowers in full bloom as well as the 180 degree view of the Himalayas crowned by Mt. Everest (8848 m.) and Mt. Kanchenjunga (8586 m.).

Itinerary of Darjeeling Tour |
DAY 01 : Arrival in Bhadrapur - Darjeeling
Arrival at Bhadrapur Airport. Transfer to Darjelling (140 km / 04 hrs.). O / N at Hotel.
DAY 02 : Darjeeling :
Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (at around 4 am) to view sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak (subject to clear weather). On way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. Afternoon visit to Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (Closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing, Gumbu Rock site and Tibetan Refugee self-help (Closed on Sunday) Center Tea Estate. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 03 : Darjeeling - Martam :
Transfer to Martam (115 kms /04 hrs. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 04 : Martam - Gangtok:
Early morning sightseeing of Rumtek Monastery and then proceed for sightseeing of Kanchejunga View Point, Drul-Chorten , Sikkim Research Institute of Tibetology. and Director of Handicraft and Handloom. Check in Hotel at Gangtok. Evening Free to explore Gangtok. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 05 : Gangtok - Pemayangtse:
Transfer to Pemayangtse ( 135 kms / 5 hrs ).Check in at Hotel. Evening visit to Pemayangtse Monastery. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 06 : Pemayangtse - Yuksom:
Transfer to Yuksom on way visit Khecheopari Lake, Khecheopalri Lake is one of the sacred Buddhist mountain lake wherever it is believed that whatever is wished in front of the lake comes true. Myth has its that when a leaf falls on the placid clear water surface is picked by a bird. A further drive takes you to Yuksom (the meeting place of three monks)- the first capital of Sikkim. This was the place where the first Chogyal (a ruling dynasty in Sikkim) was crowned. . Overnight at Hotel
DAY 07 : Yuksom - Kalimpong:
Transfer to Kalimpong. ( 115 kms / 04 hrs ). Check in at Hotel. Evening free to explore the small hilly town on your own. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 08 : Kalimpong - Bhadrapur:
Transfer to the point for your onward connection
