It gained its name because prince Charles trekked here. This is an easy and a short trek that offers you a superb mountain views, walking through forests, rice fields and different tribes. If you are doing this trek in the summer, the river may be difficult to cross due to flood. After crossing river the trail ascends to Kalikasthan, a walk on the ridges of the mountain with spectacular views of Annapurna and Lamjung Himal. The village of Gurung people, rhododendron blooms and the Sal forest are the attractions of the trek.
You can follow in the foot steps of Royalty with the Siklis or Royal Trek that was walked by the Prince of Wales himself. This pleasant trek starts outside of Pokhara at Bengas lake. The trail takes us to a Gurung village and then to fabulous views of Machhapuchre, Annapurna, and Lamjung.
