As a Belgian I wanted to discover the Himalayas with a not too heavy trek. After my cool Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek I chose Green Horizon Tours again, now for the Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek (11 days, easy). And wow, what a trip! Hard enough, but not too crazy.

It was super affordable: transportation to/from Pokhara, permits, teahouses and a top guide, all included. No hassle with extra costs. Booking through their site was so simple: email, quick reply, done. Really professional, but nice and relaxed.

The trek was beautiful. Through forests, small village jies and with sick views of Annapurna and Machapuchare. The Base Camp (4500m) was magical, like being in a movie. The climb was sometimes brisk, but our guide helped super and knew everything about the area.

Green Horizon is top notch: friendly, well-arranged, always accessible. The Nepalese people finished it – Smiling, Tea and Welcoming everywhere. I will definitely be back for another trek, maybe Annapurna Base Camp. 5 stars are sure

As a beginner in trekking (I had never really done a multi-day hike before), I was looking for something accessible but spectacular in the Himalayas. The 9-day Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek from Green Horizon Tours was just what I needed! It wasn’t too heavy, but it wasn’t too easy either, so perfect for someone like me who wanted a challenge, but niey something extreme.

It was amazing, the resort, the tours, it was nice not being in a crowded group of people but having a tour all to ourselves! We went for hikes in the forest and saw all kinds of birds and animals.
