Bhutan, a beautiful l Himalayan gem.
Here is an untamed paradise known for its ancient monasteries and lush green forests, as well as for the unique philosophy of Gross National Happiness.
The Bhutan 4 Nights / 5 Days Tour Package from Green Horizon Tours & Travels is the perfect fusion of adventure activities, natural beauty, and authentic cultural experiences, all thoughtfully arranged to give you peace of mind. At the start of your trip, take off from Kathmandu in a plane heading for Paro, a flight deemed one of the most splendid in the world.
As you bypass the peaks of the Himalayas, relish magnificent sights from Mount Everest and Kanchenjunga to Bhutan’s own sacred mountains. Soon enough after touching down at Paro you will be met by our warm-hearted Bhutanese friend who will escort you to Thimphu, the serene capital city of Bhutan in its narrow valley enclosed by hills heavily wooded Once safely on the other end of this flight, our friendly Bhutanese representatives will be waiting to welcome you and lead you into Thimphu, Bhutan’s peaceful capital city held in the palm of a thick forested valley. Adventures in and around Thimphu come to you.
With the Tshe Chhu Lhakhang temple built in 1621 as an accent, the Grand Buddha Dordenma statue overlooking Thimphu is likewise right here in front of your nose. Look closely, in the streets of what people would call a modern Capital Thimphu, you can still occasionally see great Buddhist religious traditions hosting their great ceremonies for the Itbutanese life nearby.
The Meditation Center boasts one of Bhutan’s top reliefs of Mahayana Buddhism, and old people practicing their rituals all around, independent of surroundings, just for themselves. During your next week in Bhutan, every corner will offer a unique mix of old jungles and contemporary societies, with cities and forests mingling naturally.
The tour continues with a scenic drive over Dochula Pass (3,050 m) and its 108 memorial chortens set against a backdrop of the snow-capped Himalayas. Descend into Punakha Valley, once Bhutan’s old capital of Ha, visiting breathtaking Punakha Dzong at the meeting point two thousand meters lower down between riverswrapped by two mighty Rivers—Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu.
Today you’ll also pass one of Bhutan’s longest suspension bridges and visit Chimi Lhakhang, the temple of fertility, surrounded by rice terraces and tiny villages with happy years a plenty.
Returning to Paro, it’s time for the high point of your trip — whether you are an experienced hiker or not at all — with a hike to the legendary Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) that clings precariously to a cliff 900 meters above the valley floor.
This sanctuary, considered to have been the spot where the great master Guru Rinpoche meditated, is spiritually refreshing just as it offers wide panoramas of Bhutan’s fertile but hilly landscape.
Initially, it will be our pleasure to provide you with comfortable hotel accommodation each night and to serve you delicious Bhutanese dishes prepared according to set rules.
Every part of this journey, from the temples visited to the roads driven to cultural exchanges made, represents Bhutanese values, peaceful, humble, and deep. My Bhutan 4 Nights / 5 Days Tour.
This travel experience will be a treat for your senses and a tonic to your soul, whether you desire a relaxed break, cultural discoveries, or even an exciting Himalayan adventure.
The Guide is merely there to guarantee that every part of your journey is comfortable, safe, and long remembered with love.
