Visa Information

All foreign travelers, except Indian citizens, require a visa to enter Nepal. Tourist visas can be obtained on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport or at land border crossings. You can also apply in advance at Nepalese embassies or online via the official Department of Immigration website. Visa fees depend on duration: 15 days ($30), 30 days ($50), and 90 days ($125). Extensions are possible in Kathmandu or Pokhara. Travelers must carry a valid passport with at least six months of validity. Ensure you bring a passport-sized photo and cash (USD preferred) for visa processing. Following proper visa procedures ensures smooth entry and stay in Nepal.
