Green Horizon Tours & Travels is a government-registered trekking and travel company in Nepal, specializing in Nepal trekking, adventure tours, Bhutan travel, and Tibet tour packages. We provide safe, ethical, and high-quality travel experiences while ensuring full transparency in our booking process.
This Booking Policy applies to all trekking, tour, and adventure travel packages once your booking is confirmed.
To confirm your Nepal trekking or tour booking, clients must provide:
A passport copy
Completed booking form and flight details
A 20% non-refundable deposit of the total trip cost
Once confirmed, the deposit is non-refundable and will be considered a cancellation fee if the trip is canceled.
The remaining trip balance must be paid upon arrival in Kathmandu before your trek or tour begins.
We accept:
Bank wire transfer
Credit or debit card (upon arrival)
Cash (USD or NPR)
Credit card payments may include a 3%–3.5% processing fee
Clients must cover all bank transfer fees
For Bhutan and Tibet tour packages, full payment of the remaining balance may be required at least 20 days before departure, especially for travelers flying directly.
Failure to pay on time may result in trip cancellation.
Nepal trips: Last-minute bookings accepted up to 3 days before departure, subject to availability
Bhutan & Tibet trips: Last-minute bookings may not be possible due to permit and visa processing requirements
Less than 7 days before departure → 100% of trip cost retained (No refund)
If you cannot travel due to health issues, family emergencies, or personal reasons:
Your deposit can be transferred to a future trip
Reschedule within 1 year → No extra charge
Postpone after 1 year → 10% fee per year may apply
Free postponement applies only for Nepal trekking and tour packages, subject to availability.
No refunds will be issued if a trip ends early due to:
Client’s decision
Health problems or fatigue
Weather conditions
Missed or delayed flights
Once the trip starts, unused services are non-refundable.
Green Horizon Tours & Travels is not responsible for trip disruptions caused by:
Natural disasters
Political unrest
Government restrictions
Pandemics
Extreme weather
Flight cancellations
Safety risks
If a trip is canceled due to force majeure:
No cash refunds will be issued
The full amount may be kept as trip credit for future travel in Nepal
